"Dream, Believe, Become"

Knowing firsthand what it's like being a parent of a teen mom led to the conception of this ministry. Young Moms can face obstacles such as: not completing or furthering their education, financial instability, unemployment, unstable home life, low self-esteem, depression, fear, lack of family support, the absence of the child's father, and more. 

Mentors can play a significant role in helping a Young Mom navigate these obstacles. Through supportive relationships founded on the love of Jesus Christ, we work to strengthen each Young Mom's ability to advance and reduce the limitations in their life.

Mentors show that someone cares.  Young Moms will experience improved self-esteem, lower depression, improved social relationships, attitudes, and behaviors which empower them to live a lifetime of success. As the moms overcome obstacles, so do their children. 

At My Roses Of Sharon, Inc, we are driven by a single vision; to empower Young Moms to embrace their future and reach their God-given destiny. Young Moms are encouraged through our community of parents, veterans, and professionals (nurses, counselors, and retired law enforcement)  who are committed to devoting time and opportunities that will change their lives.
