"Dream, Believe, Become"

My Roses of Sharon, Inc. was birthed in 2018 out of a very personal journey. When my teenage daughter became a mother at 16, I witnessed firsthand the struggles young moms often face—change in education, financial instability, unemployment, broken relationships, and low self-esteem. I knew she was not alone; countless other young mothers carried the same burdens with little to no support.

What started as a mother’s concern soon became a mission. I felt a deep calling to come alongside other young moms, providing the encouragement, mentorship, and community that can make the difference between surviving and thriving.

Today, My Roses of Sharon, Inc. stands as a ministry where younger moms, ages 18–26, are met with compassion and equipped with real-life skills and financial literacy. Through mentorship, community, and the love of Jesus Christ, we support moms to build self-esteem, pursue education and employment, strengthen family bonds, and discover their God-given purpose. As they thrive, their children also benefit – creating a ripple effect of healing, confidence, and success.
